Vertinem is a bio-nematicide used to manage harmful nematodes present in the soil. It is made with a beneficial fungus, Verticillium chlamydosporium 1.0% WP. After soil application, the product remains near to the root zone, where nematodes live and cause damage. Mode of Action
Vertinem starts working when it comes in direct contact with nematodes in the soil. The fungus attacks nematode eggs and their bodies, stopping their growth and spread. As the nematode population comes down, root damage is reduced. This allows the plant to absorb water and nutrients properly.
