Product Description Thifluzamide 24% SC is a new generation fungicide designed mainly to control sheath blight disease of Rice; Early blight on Tomato and Black scurf on Potato. It is a suspension concentrate formulation which disperse uniformly in water and give consistent coverage on plant surface. The molecule belongs to thiazole carboxamide chemistry which is highly effective against Rhizoctonia solani and other soil borne fungal pathogens. It moves in plant tissues and protects both preventive as well as curative. The product is known for long residual action which ensures crop safety during critical growth periods and helps in maintaining crop greenness for longer duration. Mode of Action Thifluzamide works by inhibiting succinate dehydrogenase enzymes in fungal cells. This interruption blocks the electron transfer in mitochondrial respiration process of fungus. Without proper energy supply the fungus cannot grow and finally dies. The product shows both systemic and translaminar movement which protect even hidden parts of plants.
