Product Description: Sulfentrazone 39.6% w/w SC is a selective herbicide used for control of broadleaf weeds and some grassy weeds in soybean. It works quickly and provides long lasting weed control which helps in better crop growth. The product is absorbed by weeds through leaves and roots and stops their growth. Sulfentrazone 39.6% w/w SC is useful in reducing manual weeding and saving labor. It is compatible with many other herbicides and can be used in pre and post emergence applications depending on the crop. Mode of Action: Sulfentrazone inhibits protoporphyrinogen oxidase enzymes in plants which leads to accumulation of toxic compounds in weed cells. This causes cell membrane damage and death of weeds. The product is taken by roots and shoots and moves within the plant tissues providing effective control of susceptible weeds.
