Product Description: SPIROTETRAMAT 15.31% OD is a systemic insecticide used to manage sucking pests on chilli. It belongs to the chemical class of tetramic acid derivatives. This product is absorbed by plant tissues and moves both upwards and downwards in the plant providing long lasting protection against pests. It is effective against aphids, whiteflies, mealybugs, and other sap sucking insects. SPIROTETRAMAT 15.31% OD has low toxicity to beneficial insects making it compatible in integrated pest management programs. Mode of Action: SPIROTETRAMAT inhibits lipid biosynthesis in insect pests which affects their growth and reproduction. It acts systemically and translocates in both phloem and xylem tissues of the plant. When applied, pests feeding on the treated plants stop growing and die over time.
