Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth regulator that interferes with normal development of insect larvae and nymphs which finally lead to population collapse. Bifenthrin is a broad spectrum contact and stomach action insecticide known for its strong repellency and quick paralytic effect. The formulation gives excellent performance even under heavy pest infestation and helps to break the pest life cycle effectively. It is used widely in cotton for controlling whitefly. Mode of Action Pyriproxyfen acts as a juvenile hormone analogue that disturbs the molting process in immature stages and inhibits egg hatching in adult insects which stop their further multiplication. Bifenthrin acts on the insect nervous system by blocking sodium channels that result in hyper excitation, paralysis and ultimately death of target pests.
