Pumble is a post-emergence herbicide used in wheat to control grassy weeds that compete for nutrients and moisture. It is absorbed through weed leaves and moves inside the plant to stop growth from within. The in-built adjuvant helps in quick absorption and supports performance even if light rain occurs after spraying. Pumble is mainly used against Phalaris minor and Avena species and remains safe for wheat and the following crop.
Mode of Action
Pinoxaden enters the weed through the leaves and blocks the ACCase enzyme needed for fatty acid formation. As cell membranes fail to develop, weed growth stops and the plant gradually dries, while wheat remains unaffected.
