ACIPHY is a high strength systemic insecticide formulated with Acephate 95% SG in soluble granule form. Acephate belongs to the organophosphate group of insecticides. It works by inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in the insect nervous system. When this enzyme is blocked, nerve impulses continue without control, leading to paralysis and death of the insect. After application, ACIPHY gets absorbed into the plant and moves upward through the xylem. Because of this systemic movement, even new growth becomes protected.
