Viont is an antibiotic fungicide containing Validamycin 3% L, developed specifically for the management of Sheath Blight in paddy. In rice cultivation, Sheath Blight caused by Rhizoctonia solani spreads rapidly under humid and dense crop conditions. If not controlled in time, it can reduce tillering, weaken the crop, and directly affect yield. Viont works through contact action. Once sprayed, it acts directly on the fungal growth present on the plant surface. It interferes with the development of fungal hyphae and restricts further spread of infection. Because of its strong curative effect, it performs well even when the disease is already visible in the field. Another advantage of Viont is its residual performance. After application, it continues protecting the crop for a longer duration, even under rainy or high moisture conditions.

Method of Application
Application Type: Foliar Spray Ensure uniform coverage across the crop canopy, especially in the lower plant portions where Sheath Blight infection usually begins. Timely application at early disease appearance gives better results.
