Miozine is a selective post emergence herbicide made for crops like maize and sugarcane, where weed pressure can seriously affect early growth. It contains Mesotrione 2.27% and Atrazine 22.7% in SC formulation, giving reliable control on both broadleaf and grassy weeds in one spray. In the early stage of crop growth, weeds usually grow faster than the crop itself. They take up nutrients, moisture and sunlight, and because of that the crop struggles to establish properly. If not controlled at the right time, yield loss becomes unavoidable. Miozine is applied after weeds have emerged, so it works directly on the growing weeds and clears the field competition.

How Miozine Works

Miozine works with a dual action combination, which makes the control more dependable under field conditions. Mesotrione affects the internal growth process of the weed. After spray, weeds start losing their green colour, slowly turning pale and then drying out. Atrazine blocks photosynthesis. When weeds cannot produce food, their growth stops and they eventually die. Both activities together help in controlling a wider range of weeds and also reduce chances of resistance build up over time.
