Kharnash is a post-emergence herbicide made especially to control motha or nut grass, a weed that keeps coming back in sugarcane and maize fields. This weed survives from underground nuts, which normal sprays cannot kill properly. Kharnash goes inside the weed and reaches these underground parts. After spraying, the weed starts turning yellow, its growth stops, and within a few weeks it dries completely from the root. Since it works at a very low dose, the crop remains safe and stress free.
Mode of Action
After spraying, Kharnash is absorbed through the weed leaves and moves to the roots and underground nuts. It stops the weed from making the food it needs to survive. Once this stops, the weed cannot grow further and slowly dies. Sugarcane and maize are safe because they can break down the product naturally.
Benefits
Strong control of motha, including underground nuts
